Interim CIO/CDO | IT Director | CIO Advisor

Experienced overall ICT manager with over 25 years of management experience, the last 12 of which as IT department manager and CIO. He led and modernized ICT organizations with up to 140 employees. Prior to that, he initiated and led a Europe-wide program to harmonize business processes and introduce a central IT solution with a budget of €60 million and around 60 project employees for 3 1/2 years. In addition, he brings another 8 years of management experience as a section leader in IT and IT-related areas.

His industry experience ranges from banking, insurance and real estate to safety-critical aviation/air traffic control, in each of which he has shown his ability to quickly and profoundly familiarize himself with new industries.

He brings profound IT knowledge and extensive project experience to the table and has been able to repeatedly provide directional impetus for improvements in IT architecture and information security, identifying and implementing methodological and technological innovations (Agile, DevOps, cloud computing, sourcing models, etc.). He has a track record of successful initiations and implementations of business, IT, agile and digital transformations, this as a program manager and as a department manager.
